Fabian Furger

Fabian Furger has over 8 years of experience in software engineering. In 2021, they began working as a Team Lead Software Engineering for Sedimentum AG, a Swiss healthcare start-up that has developed a technological protection mechanism to ensure the physical safety of unattended persons. Prior to this, they worked at Hexagon Mining from 2015 to 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer, developing C# and Python applications in the context of open-pit mining. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer for Schindler Aufzüge AG (Switzerland).

Fabian Furger has an extensive education history. From 2012 to 2015, they studied Computer Science at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc). Fabian then went on to Coventry University from 2014 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Informatics. Finally, they returned to Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts from 2017 to 2019, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Information and Communication Technology. In addition to their degrees, Fabian Furger holds a Scrum Master Certified (SMC) certification from Scrum.org obtained in December 2019, and a Certificate in Advanced English (C1) from Cambridge Assessment English obtained in May 2014.
