Laura Ruban

Laura Ruban has a diverse work experience in various roles within the purchasing, logistics, and product management fields. Laura began their career in 2002 as a Logistics Coordinator at Logistics Insight Corporation. In 2002, they transitioned to the role of Director of Purchasing at Douglas J Aveda Institutes & Salons, where they led purchasing and distribution functions for a multi-million dollar corporation. Laura successfully opened seven of the ten locations and oversaw aspects such as vendor management, cost controls, and customer satisfaction. Since 2015, Laura has been associated with SEE Eyewear, initially joining as Director of Purchasing and later promoted to Vice President of Product Management. In their current role, they are responsible for overseeing day-to-day purchasing and global procurement strategies for a $45M eyewear company. Laura has led various initiatives, including retail store openings and product selection for a significant portion of the company's locations.

Laura Ruban attended Michigan State University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management.
