Vijayan Nambiar

Vijayan Nambiar has been in the technology industry since 2000. Vijayan started their career as a Software Engineer at Wipro Technologies, where they designed and developed embedded software for the Embedded and Consumer Electronics Division. In 2004, they joined Optovia Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2006, they moved to Crossbeam Systems as a Senior Software Engineer, where they maintained and fixed bugs in Broadcom 5862 and 5823 VPN hardware acceleration drivers. In 2007, they joined TruePosition as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were the Design Lead for the Xen based virtualization platform for the Next-Gen product line. In 2012, they joined SimpliVity Corporation as a Principal Software Engineer, where they were the Architect and Technical Lead for next-gen storage acceleration card's firmware development with ARM SOC + FPGA. In 2016, they joined Verizon as a Sr. Engineering Manager and Embedded Software Architect for the Broadband Home Router. Vijayan is currently Chief Technology Officer for SEE ID.

Vijayan Nambiar obtained their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the University of Madras between 1996 and 2000. Vijayan then pursued a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell between 2003 and 2004. Finally, they completed their Master of Business Administration from Worcester Polytechnic Institute between 2011 and 2013.
