Program Director at See Yourself Health

Angelina Londoño Ph.D., NBC-HWC has a wealth of experience in the healthcare and research field. Starting in 2007, they were a Howard Hughes Med-to-Grad Predoctoral Fellow at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, where they served as a Peer Cluster Regional Southern Conference Coordinator. In 2008, they were a Graduate Student and Cancer Biology Admission Officer at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. From 2011 to 2013, they were an Associate Member Council Member at the American Association for Cancer Research, where they developed programming for the annual meeting, wrote White papers and presented at annual board meetings. In 2013, they began a Post-Doctoral Fellowship-T32 Training Grant in Basic and Translational Digestive Sciences at the University of Michigan. In 2015, they began a Post-Doctoral Fellowship-T32 Training Grant in Hematology Oncology at UAB Medicine. In 2018, they were a Genetics Intern at Geisinger and a Cancer Genetics Intern at the University of Miami. From 2020 to 2021, they were a Chair of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, Bilingual Training Associate and Bilingual Health Advisor at Pack Health. Most recently, they were a Program Director at See Yourself Health, where they were responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of multiple programs and developing evidence-based bilingual wellness curriculum.

Angelina Londoño Ph.D., NBC-HWC has a diverse education history. Angelina earned a BS in Molecular Genetics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2006, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular and Cellular Pathology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2013. Angelina also participated in the Trans-Atlantic Student Science Exchange Program at Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2005, and the Extended Learning Wildland Studies in Melbourne, Australia at UC Santa Barbara in 2003. From 2015 to 2017, they completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship-T32 Training Grant in Hematology Oncology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and from 2013 to 2015, they completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship-T32 Training Grant in Basic and Translational Digestive Sciences at the University of Michigan. In addition, Angelina Londoño Ph.D., NBC-HWC has obtained several certifications, including the Art of Telehealth from the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists in 2022, the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in 2021, the Person-Centered Care for Individuals who have Higher Weight: A Certificate Program from the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists in 2021, and the IRB CITI 2018 Refresher Training Course - Biomedical from the CITI Program in 2021.
