Bassim Birkland

Bassim Birkland's work experience includes serving as the Country Director and Country Representative for Seed Global Health in Zambia since 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Lecturer at The University of Zambia since 2016. Additionally, Bassim has experience working as a Physician in Lusaka, Zambia.

Bassim Birkland has a diverse education history. Bassim attended the University of Minnesota, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Bassim then pursued further education at the same university and completed a Master's in Public Health with a focus on Epidemiology. Afterward, they attended the Medical University of South Carolina and obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree. To specialize in their field, they went back to the University of Minnesota to complete a Family Medicine Residency in the field of University of Minnesota Family Medicine and Community Health.
