Christy McKinzie

STEM Coordinator And Physics Teacher at SEED SCHOOL OF MARYLAND

Christy McKinzie is an experienced educator with a strong background in STEM and physics education. Currently serving as an Aerospace Engineering Instructor at Prince George's County Public Schools since July 2016 and as a STEM coordinator and physics teacher at The SEED School of Maryland since August 2013, Christy has been actively enhancing student engagement in STEM activities. Additionally, Christy has held positions as a Professor at Towson University and an Associate Professor of Physics at The Community College of Baltimore County since 2013 and 2012, respectively. Christy's extensive teaching career began at Baltimore County Public Schools, where 19 years were dedicated to teaching various science subjects across middle and high school levels. Christy holds a Master's degree in Science Education from Loyola University Maryland and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Towson University.
