Kirk Sykes

Kirk Sykes is an experienced education leader currently serving as the Head of School/Superintendent at The SEED School of Maryland since July 2020. Prior to this role, Kirk held the position of Area Superintendent at Fulton County Schools and served as Principal at both Baltimore County Public Schools and Baltimore City Public Schools. Additionally, Kirk has been an active board member for the Principal's Advisory Council MSDE and the Secondary Schools Administrators Association. Educational credentials include an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Administration from Seton Hall University, a Certificate of Study from Harvard University Graduate School of Education, and a Master's Degree in Education from Coppin State University, alongside a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from Morgan State University.
