Troy Geesaman

Troy Geesaman has an extensive work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Troy is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Strategy at Seed Strategy since July 2021. Prior to that, in 2020, they worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Southern Methodist University. In the same year, they also held the position of Principal at The Berryfield Group, where they advocated for Humanity-Centered Leadership and helped organizations build strong relationships within their teams.

From 2010 to 2020, Troy served as the Chief Strategist at Marco Polo Explorers. Before that, they worked as a Principal at MDC from 2017 to 2019 and as the VP of Client Services at We Are Alexander from 2013 to 2017. Troy also held roles at Brandimage, where they served as the Group Director of Client Service from 2010 to 2013 and as the Innovation & Strategy Director from 2007 to 2010.

Troy's earlier professional experience includes working for Dr Pepper Snapple Group (formerly Cadbury Schweppes) as the Director of the Discovery Innovation Group and Manager of the Brand Innovation Group. During their tenure, they played a significant role in launching successful brands and building an innovation pipeline valued at over $1 billion.

Before transitioning into the corporate world, Troy served as a First Lieutenant in the US Army from 1982 to 1992. Troy'searly career started in 1988 at McCormick & Company, Inc., where they worked as a Brand Manager and achieved notable successes in relaunching flagship product lines.

Troy Geesaman holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Marketing from The Johns Hopkins University. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Business Administration from Gettysburg College. Troy also obtained their high school diploma from Northern Lebanon High School. In addition to their formal education, Troy has achieved certification as a Certified Talent Optimization Consultant from The Predictive Index in December 2020.
