Nicolas Enjalbert

Nicolas Enjalbert is the Co-Founder and CEO at SeedLinked, a company that provides a digital platform connecting smallholder farmers with the data, products, and services they need to improve their farms. Prior to SeedLinked, Nicolas was a Research Assistant at Colorado State University from July 2007 to July 2011. There, they developed and managed the CSU oilseed project: a research group for local biofuel development. Nicolas supervised graduate students, established protocols, hired employees, and solved conflicts. Nicolas also designed, managed, and analyzed more than 40 agronomic and variety trials, including planting, phenotyping, harvesting, and analyzing. Nicolas established collaborative research across disciplines at the university level and in industry. Nicolas also built and facilitated workshops, field days, and pilot unit oil crushers. Nicolas has written 11 grant proposals totaling more than $400,000. Nicolas has also published in peer reviewed journals and written extension factsheets. Nicolas developed 2 camelina varieties during their time at CSU.

Nicolas Enjalbert received their PhD in plant science and breeding from Colorado State University. Nicolas also holds a master's degree in agriculture from Ecole de PURPAN and a bachelor's degree in biology from the same school.
