Mariam Sikiru is a multifaceted professional actively engaged in multiple roles across various institutions. Currently serving as a Speaking Fellow at Barnard College and a CNI Student Program Assistant at Columbia University, Mariam supports accounts payable operations and performs clerical duties. Additionally, Mariam holds multiple positions at Barnard College, including Student Learning Assessment Fellow and Lead Peer Mentor at The Center for Accessibility Resources & Disability Services. As a Doula for Student Birth Workers, Mariam contributes to community wellness, while also coordinating programming for Project Sunshine. Mariam is an active member of Seeds of Fortune Inc., facilitating workshops for high school scholars, and participates in various roles within Girls Inc. and Creating Opportunity to Reach Empowerment. Recently, Mariam was a Summer Analyst at BMO Capital Markets, partaking in an internship focused on mentorship and development. Academically, Mariam holds bachelor's degrees in Religion, Political Science, and Educational Studies from Columbia University and Barnard College, respectively.
