Joana Paiva

Joana S. Paiva serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Seedsight, beginning in December 2023, where the company focuses on transforming the food industry through enhanced cereal resource utilization. Concurrently, Joana evaluates funding proposals for the European Commission and maintains a role as Founder and Chief Technology Officer at iLoF - Intelligent Lab on Fiber since August 2019. Joana also contributes as an Auxiliar Biophysics Professor at ICBAS and has experience as Chief Data Officer at Stealth Mode. Joana's academic background includes a PhD in Physics from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto, alongside a Master's in Biomedical Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra. Research expertise encompasses optics, photonics, and their applications in neuroscience.
