Aurora Otoya

Aurora Otoya is a seasoned professional specializing in Open Banking and innovation management with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Product Manager at BBVA, Aurora leads the Embedded Finance value proposition and is a founding member of the Embedded Finance area in BBVA Peru. Concurrently, Aurora is a part-time lecturer at Postgrado UPC, teaching courses on agile methodologies and innovation ecosystems. Additionally, Aurora mentors startups at Seedstars, providing guidance and workshops aimed at fostering entrepreneurship in emerging markets. Past roles include co-founding Fiesta Floral, leading strategy and business transformation at Financiera Crediscotia, and executing strategic planning at EY. Aurora holds an MBA from IE Business School and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Universidad de Piura.
