Luiz Roberto Sodré

Luiz Roberto Sodré has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2001 with a role as Assistant Manager at 4 Irmãos Farm. In 2004, they took on the role of Undergraduate Student Researcher at Universidade de São Paulo. From 2007 to 2009, they held the role of Visiting Scholar Researcher at the University of California, Davis, and Trainee at Cor van Raay Farms Ltd. in Alberta, Canada. In 2009, they became a Teaching Assistant at UC Davis Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics. From 2010 to 2015, they worked at Rabobank International Brasil as a Structured Finance & Capital Markets Associate and Strategic Advisory Analyst. During this time, they also held the role of MBA Intern, Assistant to Chief Innovation Officer at Alltech, and MBA Student Consultant at International Paper. Finally, in 2015, they became Cofounder of Perfarm, and in 2022, they assumed the role of Head Direct-to-Farmers Digital Solutions at Seedz.

Luiz Roberto Sodré obtained a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from USP - Universidade de São Paulo between 2004 and 2009. Luiz Roberto then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of California, Davis from 2009 to 2010. In 2007 and 2008, they were also a Visiting Scholar at the same university, studying Animal Science and Agricultural and Resource Economics. Finally, they completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business between 2014 and 2016.
