Sarah Nagy

Sarah Nagy has a diverse range of work experience spanning various industries. Sarah is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Seek AI, where they oversee the intelligent data layer. Prior to this, they worked at Citadel as the Consumer Data Lead for Ashler Capital, leading the data team to analyze large datasets for idea generation. Sarah also served as the Head of Data Science at Edison Software in New York City, and as a Quantitative Analyst at Predata and ITG.

During their time at ITG, Sarah began as an intern in Smart Routing and Investment Research, where they developed an algorithm to increase the number of shares executed by the smart router to dark pools. Sarah also utilized unconventional data sets to predict company subscribers based on historical probability distribution of subscriber duration.

Before ITG, Sarah gained experience as an intern at Instinet Incorporated, where they matched volume-weighted average price through manual stock trading and improved trade data quality by creating a methodology to filter country condition codes.

Prior to their internships, Sarah worked as a Research Assistant at the California Institute of Technology, analyzing high-redshift galaxies imaged using the Hubble Space Telescope. Their research on the mass-radius relation for high redshift galaxies was published in The Astrophysical Journal.

Sarah's early professional experience includes working as an intern at Los Angeles Capital Management, where they tested and edited scripts for backtesting strategies, ran simulations for portfolio optimization, and developed a Matlab program for a new risk model.

Sarah Nagy has a Bachelor of Arts and Science degree in Astrophysics and Business Economics from UCLA. Sarah also holds a Master of Finance degree from Princeton University. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained a certification in Series 7 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).
