Maedeh Zamani has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple roles and companies. Maedeh is currently working as a Scientist III at Seer since 2022. Prior to this, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine from 2017 to 2022, where they focused on studying the biochemical and mechanical interactions between cells and extracellular matrix to develop therapeutic approaches for vascular regeneration in ischemic diseases. Additionally, they worked as a Lecturer at Azad University from 2009 to 2011 and at Daneshpajoohan Institute from 2010 to 2011. Maedeh also served as an R&D Manager at Nano-Zist Fanavar Apadana Co. from 2010 to 2011 and as a Laboratory Manager at Goharbafan Co. from 2008 to 2009. Their career began as a Teaching Assistant at Isfahan University of Technology from 2006 to 2008.
Maedeh Zamani obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Fiber Science from Isfahan University of Technology, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Maedeh pursued further education at the same institution and earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Fiber Science from 2005 to 2008. Afterwards, they joined the National University of Singapore and completed their PhD in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, specifically in the Division of Biomaterials, from 2012 to 2016.
