Richard Baldwin has a diverse range of work experience in the field of research and development. Richard is currently serving as the VP of Nanoparticle Research at Seer since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Fortis Life Sciences from July 2021 to May 2023, where they held the position of VP of Research and Development. From January 2018 to July 2021, Richard held the role of VP of Research and Development at nanoComposix. Richard also served as the Chief Scientist at nanoComposix from 2006 to 2018. Before joining nanoComposix, Richard worked as a Scientist at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center from 2003 to 2006. Richard began their career as a postdoc at UC Davis from 2000 to 2003 and at the University of California - Irvine from 1998 to 2000.
Richard Baldwin completed their high school education at Caulfield Grammar in Melbourne, Australia, from 1984 to 1989. Richard then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with honors in Chemistry at Monash University, from 1990 to 1994. Richard continued their educational journey by earning a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the Australian National University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999.
