Erik Gallegos has a diverse range of work experience in the field of software engineering. Erik started their career as a Software Engineer at Seesaw Learning in 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Appstem from 2015 to 2018, where they were a Lead Mobile Developer and a Mobile Developer. At Appstem, they handled various projects related to native iOS/Android apps, web apps, and Unity plugins.
Before joining Appstem, Erik worked at COSMOS (California State Summer School for Mathematics and Science) from 2010 to 2014. Erik served as a Resident Advisor during a math and science camp and also worked as a Computer Science Tutor, assisting students with programming assignments.
In 2013, Erik worked as a Workshop Leader and Mentor at ThoughtSTEM, where they conducted coding workshops for students from K-12, focusing on Arduino hardware, Javascript, and Scratch.
In 2012, Erik gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at ViaSat Inc., where they worked on the Arclight project team developing a mobile broadband system.
Throughout their work experience, Erik has demonstrated their technical expertise, ability to plan and manage projects, provide technical advice, and mentor others.
From 2009 to 2014, Erik Gallegos attended UC San Diego, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science.
