Larissa Hsia-Wong, Ed.D.

Larissa Hsia-Wong, Ed.D. has a diverse work experience in the education field. Larissa currently works as a K-2 Curriculum Developer at Seesaw Learning since 2022. Previously, they served as a Kindergarten Lead Teacher at Presidio Hill School from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, Larissa worked at Chinese American International School, where they held roles such as Assistant Lower School Director from 2019 to 2020, and Kindergarten/1st Grade Lead English Teacher from 2017 to 2019. Larissa also worked at Taipei American School as the Lower School EAL Program Coordinator and Teacher from 2013 to 2017, as well as at Kaohsiung American School as a Middle School ELL Teacher from 2011 to 2013. Larissa has experience as a TEFL Curriculum Developer at WorldTeach from 2010 to 2011 and served as a Natural Resource Management and Community Education Volunteer in the Peace Corps from 2007 to 2009.

Larissa Hsia-Wong, Ed.D. obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University in 2007. Larissa majored in Chinese and Psychology during their time there. In 2010 to 2011, Larissa pursued further education at Harvard Graduate School of Education, where they earned their Ed.M. degree in Human Development and Psychology. Recently, from 2019 to 2022, Larissa attended the San Francisco State University Graduate College of Education to pursue a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Social Justice Educational Leadership.
