Teerath Grewal has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Teerath currently serves as the Founder of Everest Scholars since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Content Developer at Seesaw Learning starting in June 2021. Teerath also worked as a 6th Grade Teacher at River Island STEAM Academy from July 2021 to June 2022, and as a 4th Grade Teacher at Berkshire Elementary School from August 2020 to December 2021. Teerath gained extensive teaching experience as a 6th Grade Teacher at Loudon Roy W Elementary School for four years, from August 2016 to August 2020. During their time there, Teerath acquired various professional development certifications and facilitated intervention instruction for struggling readers. Teerath initially began their career as a Substitute Teacher, both in the K-8 and high school levels, at Panama-Buena Vista Union School District and Kern High School District from August 2015 to June 2016. Teerath also served as a Corps Member at Jumpstart from July 2014 to June 2015, where they provided educational and emotional support to preschool children in under-resourced communities.
Teerath Grewal completed a Bachelor's degree in Education Sciences and International Studies from UC Irvine, studying from 2011 to 2015. Following this, Teerath pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Educational/Instructional Technology at Liberty University, from 2018 to 2022. In addition to these degrees, Teerath obtained the ISTE Certified Educator certification from ISTE in July 2022.
