Ronnie Beason

Ronnie Beason has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Ronnie'smost recent position was as the Vice President - Automation at SEF Energy R&D, which they started in August 2019. Prior to that, they worked at The Colex Group, Inc. for over a decade as a Senior Partner, specializing in business development and project management for engineering solutions with a focus on automation, data acquisition, and analysis.

Before joining The Colex Group, Inc., Ronnie worked at National Instruments as a District Sales Manager for over a decade, where they managed accounts in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Kansas, with a primary focus on the oil/gas and government/aerospace industries.

Ronnie has also gained experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Oklahoma, conducting research from 1991 to 1995, and as an Electrical Engineer at Tonopah Test Range - Sandia National Laboratories and Sandia National Laboratories in 1991 and 1990, respectively.

Throughout their career, Ronnie has acquired expertise in automation, engineering solutions, account management, and research.

Ronnie Beason's education history reflects a strong emphasis in the field of Electrical Engineering. Ronnie first attended the University of Oklahoma from 1986 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering. Ronnie later pursued further education at the same institution, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in the same field between 1991 and 1993. Ronnie's commitment to academic excellence continued, as they ultimately completed a PhD in Electrical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma from 2003 to 2007.
