John Brown

John Brown has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. John is currently working as the Head of Information Technology at SEFE Energy since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Adviser/Investor for various innovative startups and technology ventures from 2016 onwards. Before that, they held executive leadership positions such as COO/CIO/Transformation Director at different organizations, including Shakespeare Martineau and the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors. John also has experience in transformation and IT roles at National Grid and the Department of Energy and Climate Change. Additionally, they have worked in educational institutions like GSM London and the University of the Arts London, where they held various IT director roles. Throughout their career, John has demonstrated their ability to drive change, establish strategic partnerships, and create value in diverse environments.

John Brown attended St Joseph's School in Laverstock, Salisbury from 1977 to 1982. John then attended Solihull Sixth Form College from 1982 to 1984, where they studied Maths, Physics, and Geography. Finally, they attended Coventry University from 1986 to 1996, where they obtained an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers degree in Finance and Financial Management Services.
