Divyam Nagpal

Divyam Nagpal is a seasoned professional in renewable energy and energy access, currently serving as Principal Specialist at Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) since September 2023, focusing on the Africa Renewable Energy Manufacturing Initiative. In addition, Divyam is an Angel Investor at Inflection Point Ventures since May 2021. Prior experience includes a significant tenure as Programme Officer at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) from 2012 to 2023, where Divyam led initiatives on energy access, mini-grid policy, and partnerships, and served as a key consultant on various renewable energy projects in collaboration with organizations including ICIMOD and SELCO Foundation. Academic credentials include an MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures from Imperial College London and a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, along with specialization in Climate & Renewable Energy Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
