Elizabeth Wangeci Chege is an accomplished sustainability expert with extensive experience in the green building and energy efficiency sectors. Currently serving as Board Secretary for the World Green Building Council and Energy Efficiency & Cooling Specialist for Sustainable Energy for All, Elizabeth also holds the position of CEO and Co-Founder at WEB Limited Group, a consultancy providing sustainable solutions in the built environment. Notable past roles include Vice Chair at the World Green Building Council and Immediate Past Chairman of the Kenya Green Building Society, where advocacy and education on green buildings have been key focuses. Elizabeth’s diverse background includes sustainability consulting, advisory roles for climate action, and significant contributions to regional green building legislation, underpinned by advanced degrees in Sustainable Design Science from the University of Sydney.
