Nadia Adona

Nadia Adona has worked at SEGD since 2000, starting as a Member Services Associate/Web Manager/Chapter Chair Liaison. In this role, they produced a weekly newsletter, managed social media accounts, and performed various tasks related to email communication. Nadia recently became the Director of Membership and Media in December 2020. Prior to their work at SEGD, Nadia underwent recruit training with the United States Marine Corps from June 1999 to March 2000.

Nadia Adona completed their education chronologically as follows. Nadia attended Prince George's Community College from 1994 to 1997 and obtained an Associate in Arts degree in General Studies and Art. Nadia then attended the University of Maryland from 1997 to 1999, though they did not earn a specific degree. Later, from 2002 to 2006, they enrolled at The Art Institute of Washington and earned a Bachelor's degree in Art with a focus on Interactive Design. In addition to their formal education, Nadia Adona obtained several certifications, including "Landscape Photography: Wide-Angle Lenses," "Lead Like a Boss," "Logo Trend Report 2017-2018," and "Typography: Choosing and Combining Typefaces," from LinkedIn in 2019.
