Christopher Alvarez has a diverse work experience. Christopher started their career as a Graphic Artist at Magic City in 1995. From there, they worked as a Graphic Artist at Creative Photo and Studio from 1996 to 1999. Alvarez then joined The Rankin Group as a Graphic Designer from 1999 to 2002. Christopher later moved to Segerstrom Center for the Arts, where they held multiple roles including Graphic Designer from 2002 to 2005, Manager of Creative Services from 2005 to 2019, and currently, they are the Director of Creative Services.
Christopher Alvarez attended California State University, Long Beach from 1988 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art. During their time at the university, they focused their studies in the fields of Art and Creative Writing.

Segerstrom Center presents a broad range of programming for audiences of all ages, including international ballet and dance, national tours of top Broadway shows, intimate performances of jazz and cabaret, contemporary artists, classical music performed by renowned chamber orchestras and ensembles, family-friendly programming, free performances on the Argyros Plaza open to the public from outdoor movie screenings to dancing on the plaza and many other special events. The campus also embraces the facilities of two acclaimed independent organizations: Tony® Award-winning South Coast Repertory and a site designated as the future home of the Orange County Museum of Art. It is also the artistic home to the Pacific Symphony, the Philharmonic Society of Orange County and the Pacific Chorale.
