Ying Ng

Ying Ng has a solid work experience in the field of laboratory management and quality assurance. They most recently worked as the Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager at Segra International Corp. from April 2021 to the present. Prior to that, they held the role of Operations Manager at the same company from July 2020 to December 2020. Before joining Segra International Corp., Ying was the Laboratory Manager at Segra International Corporation from April 2017 to April 2020. They also gained experience at the BC Cancer Agency and BC Cancer Research Centre, where they served as Laboratory Manager from January 2015 to December 2016 and as Tumour Bank Manager from January 2011 to December 2015. Earlier in their career, Ying worked as a Cytogenetics/Molecular Technologist at BC Cancer Agency from February 2006 to December 2011. They also had a role in Clinical Genetics at BCIT in 2005.

Ying Ng has a diverse education history. Ying first attended Simon Fraser University from 1999 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. In 2004, they attended the British Columbia Institute of Technology and completed a Diploma of Technology in Clinical Genetics Technology Post-Diploma Program.

Afterwards, in 2009 and 2010, Ying Ng participated in a Project Management Workshop, earning a Certificate. In 2011, they enrolled in Trinity Western University and completed a Master of Arts degree in Leadership from 2011 to 2013.

Additionally, Ying Ng attended the Canadian Tumour Repository Network (CTRNet) Workshop in 2012, where they received a Certificate of participation in Standards and Policies in Tumour Banking. In 2014, they attended the Provincial Health Services Authority and completed a Coaching out of the Box program.

Ying Ng also holds a certification as a Registered Technologist from the Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science, although the specific details and date of attainment are not provided.
