Lisa Thompson

Lisa Thompson is a seasoned structural technician with extensive experience in bridge design and civil engineering. Currently serving as the Lead Structural Technician at SEH since March 2023, Lisa previously worked as a Structural Designer at Kimley-Horn, specializing in MnDOT projects and adhering to LRFD standards from March 2015 to March 2023. Prior to that role, Lisa was a CAD Technician at Stantec, focusing on bridge construction plans and designs for both new and rehabilitation projects from May 2008 to March 2015. Lisa's career began at Target as a Senior Import Coordinator, managing program execution from November 2005 to December 2007. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Minnesota Duluth and an Associate of Applied Science in Architectural Drafting and Design from Hennepin Technical College. Skilled in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microstation, Lisa demonstrates a strong background in both technical and project management aspects of engineering.
