Iqbal Basha

Iqbal Basha has a strong background in finance and insurance. Iqbal is currently the Head of Finance Department at Seib Insurance & Reinsurance Company LLC, a position they have held since 2017. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Takaful Emarat Insurance Dubai, specializing in life insurance, A&H, group life, and group medical accounting. From 2005 to 2013, Iqbal was the Chief Financial Officer at MetLife Alico Dubai, where they oversaw the finance operations of six GCC countries. Iqbal started their career as a Finance Manager at American Life Insurance Company (Alico) Dubai from 2001 to 2004, focusing on investments, budgets, balance sheet reconciliations, and cash flows.

Iqbal Basha has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from Government College. Iqbal also has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from FLMI. Additionally, they have completed ACS certification.
