Michael Lane

Michael Lane is the Executive Vice President and Head of Asset Management at SEI, responsible for global investment teams and client experience. Previously, they held leadership positions at BlackRock, including Chair of US Wealth and Head of iShares for U.S. Wealth Advisory, and served as the Global Head of Strategic Retirement Initiatives at Dimensional Fund Advisors, where they played a pivotal role in developing retirement solutions. Michael has published three books and is involved in initiatives to bring diverse talent to the financial services industry. A graduate of Binghamton University, they were also recognized with the Medal of Distinguished Service in 2019. Michael resides in Austin, Texas, with their three children.
