Michael J. Fairclough

Michael joined Seidler Equity Partners in 2005 as General Counsel. He provides general oversight of legal matters, coordinates the work of outside counsel, participates in legal due diligence, assists with the negotiation and documentation of the investment, exit, and other transactions, and assists with regulatory compliance.

Michael began his professional career at O’Melveny & Myers LLP, where he became a partner in 1980. His legal practice focused principally on mergers and acquisitions, general corporate work, international transactions, and the representation of private equity firms, investment advisors, and mutual fund independent directors.

Michael earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Utah Law School, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Utah Law Review.
