Charlie Rau has a diverse work experience in the field of laser shows and lighting productions. Charlie started their career as a Laserist at Carnegie Science Center in 1994 where they also worked in the planetarium. Charlie then became the President of Laserchuck Inc., where they worked on various computer graphics, laser display, and lighting production projects. After that, they worked as a Laser Concert Producer at Laserdome and as a Producer/Educator at Mayborn Planetarium. In 2009, they joined Raven Systems Design Inc. as a Solutions Specialist and was involved in sales, support, and R&D of lasershow control software. This experience led to the formation of ChromaCove LLC, where they became a Co-Founder and Solutions Specialist. Most recently, they have been working as the Planetarium Sales Director at Seiler Instrument & Mfg. Co. Inc.
Charlie Rau obtained a High School Diploma in general studies from Hampton High School from 1988 to 1992. Charlie then pursued further education at Penn Technical Institute from 1992 to 1994 and earned an Associate in Specialized Technology degree in Electronics.

Our Planetarium Division is the sole distributor of Zeiss Planetaria in the U.S. and Canada.
