Deap Khambay has extensive work experience in various roles related to sustainability and corporate responsibility. From 2006 to 2009, they worked as a Buying Admin/Product Development Assistant/Global Steward at Timberland, where they were responsible for creating technical production packs and managing volunteer programs. From 2010 to 2017, Khambay worked as a Consultant, providing expertise in corporate responsibility and sustainability to a diverse client portfolio. They designed and implemented a Corporate Social Responsibility service and published CSR reports. From 2017 to 2021, they served as the Head of Sustainability at Seasalt, establishing and developing the company's Sustainability Department and implementing programs to meet sustainability objectives. From 2021 to 2023, they worked as an Associate at Brunswick Group, focusing on ESG. In 2023, they joined Grant Thornton UK LLP as an ESG Strategic Solutions Associate Director. Later in 2023, they transitioned to Seismic, where they currently hold the role of Principal Consultant.

Deap Khambay has a diverse education history. In 2000, Khambay started attending The University of Manchester but did not complete a degree. Khambay then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in International Business and Corporate Social Responsibility at De Montfort University, completing the program in 2010. In 2018, Khambay attended the University of Exeter for a Circular Economy Masterclass but did not obtain a degree. Additionally, Khambay obtained a certification as an ORB Auditor from the Organisation of Responsible Business in February 2013. In 2008, Khambay acquired a Neuro-linguistic Practitioner qualification from PPD Learning.
