Cecilia Ramello, PhD has a diverse work experience in the field of research and immunology. Cecilia is currently working as a Sr. Scientist at Seismic Therapeutic since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Scientist and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stanford University School of Medicine from August 2020 to December 2022 and from February 2022 to January 2022, respectively.

From 2017 to 2020, Cecilia was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Moffitt Cancer Center, where they focused on improving CAR-T cell therapies against solid tumors. Their responsibilities included designing and cloning chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) and transducing different T cell subsets using gene-editing techniques.

Before that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, where they studied immunosenescence in cancer patients and developed a flow cytometry assay to characterize senescent T cells. Cecilia also served as an Assistant Professor, teaching Immunology courses at the National University of Cordoba.

Cecilia also had a brief role as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Institut Curie - Research Centre in 2015 and as a Clinical Biochemist Trainee at Hospital Privado Universitario de Córdoba from 2007 to 2008.

Cecilia Ramello, PhD, completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Clinical Biochemistry at Universidad Nacional de Córdoba from 2004 to 2008. Cecilia then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Immunology at the same institution from 2010 to 2015.
