Grace Drechsel

Grace Drechsel is a seasoned communications professional with experience in environmental and political advocacy. Currently serving as a Communications Specialist at SEIU Healthcare 1199NW since January 2022, Grace previously held positions as Communications Associate at both the Washington Environmental Council and the Washington Conservation Voters. In the summer of 2020, Grace supported the campaign of Rep. Sharon Shewmake as a Field Organizer and Social Media Associate, where responsibilities included managing social media and engaging with voters. An experienced leader, Grace was elected as the Associated Students Vice President for Governmental Affairs at Western Washington University, advocating for student interests at multiple governmental levels. Grace holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government, along with minors in Creative Writing and Education and Social Justice, from Western Washington University, and an Associate of Arts degree from Tacoma Community College.
