Kenia Escobar

Kenia Escobar has a diverse work experience in the field of communications. Kenia worked at SEIU Healthcare 1199NW as a Communications Specialist from May 2019 to January 2022, before being promoted to Director of Communications in January 2022. Prior to that, they worked at The Florida Bar, starting as a Member Service Assistant in June 2009 and progressing to roles such as Public Information Assistant, Public Information Coordinator, and finally Digital Communications Specialist from June 2018 to May 2019. Kenia'sresponsibilities included implementing communication programs, website design and development, multimedia presentations, media monitoring, and customer service tasks.

Kenia Escobar completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Mass Communication/Web Design at the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Web Design and Development Professional Certification from Florida State University in 2016. In 2015, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English, also from Florida State University.
