Magnus Montan

Magnus Montan currently serves as the CEO of SEK Svensk Exportkredit since July 2021. Prior to this role, Magnus held various senior positions at Nordea from November 2014 to November 2022, including Board Member of Nordea Hypotek and Nordic Head of Business Banking and Corporate Banking Strategy & Development. From January 2020 to May 2021, Magnus was a Founding Partner at RRM Capital Partners, focusing on private equity investments and advisory in Nordic financial services. Magnus's extensive experience in the financial industry includes significant roles at HSBC from September 1996 to May 2014, where responsibilities ranged from Managing Director & Regional Head of Global Trade & Receivables Finance for Latin America to various leadership positions in Corporate & Commercial Banking. Magnus holds a BSc in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science and an International Baccalaureate from the United World College of the Atlantic.
