Egill Abrahamsen

Egill Abrahamsen has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Egill served as the VP of Business Development at Sekal AS, a company focused on reducing risk and costs in drilling processes through the use of advanced physical models. Prior to this, Egill worked at Weatherford International in various roles, including Technical Manager, Global Business Implementation Manager, Global Product Line Manager, Application Engineer II, Technical Sales Engineer, Technical Services Manager, Technical Manager, and Jam Engineer. Egill's roles at Weatherford International spanned from 1981 to 2011 and involved responsibilities in tubular running services, rig mechanization, well installation services, and technical sales.

Egill Abrahamsen began their education journey in 1976 at Gand Videregående Skole in Sandnes, where they studied Automation and Industrial Electronics until 1980. Following this, from 1984 to 1985, they attended Teknisk Fagskole in Stavanger, specializing in Electronics and Automation Technician.
