Raewon Chung has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 17 years. Their most recent position was as a Senior Program Manager- Business Development at Sekisui Aerospace Inc., where they led a cross-functional team, implemented continuous improvement initiatives, and presented to executive leadership on program finance, schedule, and quality status. Prior to that, they worked at Zodiac Aerospace for four years, serving as a Senior Program Manager and Program Manager. In these roles, they managed aircraft seating programs, ensured expenses were within budget, and led program milestone meetings and presentations to senior leadership. Before transitioning into program management, Raewon worked at Integrated Industrial Systems as a Project Manager, where they managed multimillion-dollar projects and coordinated with cross-functional teams and external vendors. Raewon also held a role as a Mechanical Engineer, where they designed mechanical components and co-created a new wiping apparatus. Raewon's career began in the military, serving as a Sergeant in the US 8th Army Korean Augmentation To the United States Army from 2001 to 2003.
Raewon Chung completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Technology at Purdue University from 1997 to 2003. In December 2003, they obtained an A&P License from the Federal Aviation Administration. Later, from 2010 to 2012, Raewon pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration and Management at the University of Connecticut School of Business. In May 2013, they obtained a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
