Ron McDowell

Principle Manager of Automation - Corporate Innovation and R&D Lab at Sekisui Aerospace

Ron McDowell has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years in automation and controls engineering. Ron started their career in 1989 as a Service Engineer & Lead Tech at Automated Solutions Inc, where they mentored technicians and assembled automated assembly equipment. In 1993, they joined Wright Industries as a Senior Field Service Engineer, where they installed and serviced various types of automated processes for different industries.

In 1995, Ron moved to Motorola Manufacturing Systems, where they initially worked as a Controls Engineer, designing custom controls solutions for semiconductor equipment. Ron then transitioned to the role of Manufacturing Manager, overseeing the manufacturing floor and managing a team of technicians and machinists.
