Raul Hurtado

Raul Hurtado is an accomplished commercial manager with extensive experience in the specialty chemicals industry. Since 2011, Hurtado has been leading commercial initiatives at Sekisui Specialty Chemicals. Prior to this, Hurtado held various strategic positions at Celanese from 1989 to 2010, including Clarifoil Business Manager, Global Business Manager for Solvents and Derivatives, and Sales Director for Asia, based in Singapore. Additional roles at Celanese include China Sales Manager for Acetate Products, Section Leader for China Marketing, and Senior Technical Service in Latin America. Hurtado began the career with a solid educational foundation, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad de Guadalajara between 1978 and 1983.
