Gordon L. has a diverse work experience in the field of public health and research. Gordon started their career as a Behavioral Therapist at Behavioral Health Works, Inc. in 2016 and then worked as a Research Coordinator and later as a Research Technician at Michigan Medicine from 2017 to 2020. In this role, they serve as a lead/secondary analyst on the production of national HIV/AIDS data reports, creates and debugs SAS and SQL code, and performs quality checks on HIV/AIDS data for public release.

Gordon obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a concentration in Epidemiology and an Injury and Violence Prevention Certificate from Emory University, where they studied from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, Gordon earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of California, Irvine - School of Social Ecology in 2016.
