Breanne Acio

Breanne Acio is the Co-Founder and CEO of Sēkr, a San Diego-based company that specializes in campervan rentals. Breanne founded the company in January 2018 and has been at the helm ever since.

Prior to founding Sēkr, Breanne was a professor at San Diego State University, where they taught communication courses. Breanne also served as president of the Society of Communication and Leadership from May 2016 to May 2018.

Before their academic and entrepreneurial pursuits, Breanne worked as a sales associate for Viking River Cruises from April 2008 to March 2014.

Breanne Acio has a Master’s Degree in Communication from San Diego State University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies with Gender and Women's Studies (minor) from California State University, Northridge.
