Dr. Abdul Kareem Mohamed Ashraf

Dr. Abdul Kareem Mohamed Ashraf has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Dr. Abdul Kareem currently holds the position of Franchise Owner at Stay Home Forever- Mississauga West, as well as the role of Chief Executive Officer at FFMN, both of which they began in 2020. Dr. Ashraf also serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Sela for Power, Automation & Safety Systems and Sela Medical, starting in 2020.

In previous roles, Dr. Ashraf worked as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Sela Foods from 2018 to 2020. Dr. Abdul Kareem was responsible for overseeing finance, sales, and IT, and successfully navigated through a transformational stage. Prior to this, they served as the Group Chief Financial Officer and Vice President at al ajab group in 2017.

During their tenure at Al Rabie Saudi Foods Co Ltd, Dr. Ashraf held various positions, including Deputy Chief Financial Officer from 2015 to 2017, Senior Director Of Finance & Controllership from 2005 to 2014, Finance Manager from 2003 to 2005, Account Manager from 2000 to 2003, Assistant Account Manager from 1996 to 2000, and Senior Accountant from 1990 to 1996.

Before joining Al Rabie Saudi Foods Co Ltd, Dr. Ashraf was the Chief Accountant at M.A.M. ABDUL KADER AND CO LTD from 1988 to 1990. Prior to that, they worked as the Group Accountant at Ceylon Carriers Ltd from 1986 to 1988, and as an Accounts Executive at Galle Face Hotel from 1984 to 1986.

Dr. Abdul Kareem Mohamed Ashraf obtained a Ph.D. in Marketing from Oulu Business School, University of Oulu, between 2011 and 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Finance at Charles Sturt University from 2005 to 2007. Dr. Abdul Kareem also holds a Master's Degree specialized in accounting from Madurai Kamraj University, achieved from 1999 to 2001. In 1983 to 1985, they earned a Professional Accounting certification from the Association of Accounting Technicians London. Dr. Ashraf is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing United Kingdom, which they attained in 2015. Additionally, they have obtained certifications as a CIM ACIM Member from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing and an ICF Member Badge from the International Coaching Federation in 2021.
