Currently the Chief Operating Officer, Mr Chong Koon San is responsible for providing the day to day leadership and management of the Group’s businesses which includes establishing and implementing the Group’s business strategies, plans and procedures as well as represents the Company in dealings with stakeholders. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Malaya and was called to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1992. With more than 27 years of experience, he started his career as a litigation lawyer and thereafter was in-house legal advisor to corporations in several industries including banking, manufacturing & trading and property development. He joined the Group as Corporate Affairs Manager in 2000 and in July 2012, he was promoted to the present position as Chief Operating Officer.

Selangor Properties Berhad is engaged in property investment and the provision of related services and investment holding. Its Malaysian operations comprise three segments: Property investment, Property development and Investment holding. Its overseas operations comprise two segments: other investment holding and the Australian operations. Its investment properties, located in the district of Damansara Heights in Kuala Lumpur, include Menara Milenium, Komplex Pejabat Damansara, Plaza Batai and Taman Tunku Apartments. Property development includes its development activities in landbank in Damansara Heights and two residential property development projects. Its investment holdings in Malaysia include financial assets in the form of placements of short-term funds in unit trusts, and outside Malaysia comprise investments in equity funds, real estate funds, hedge funds and fixed deposits. Its Australian operations include its Claremont Quarter and 7 Bayview Terrace properties in Perth.
