Robert Foglesong

Robert Foglesong has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and research industry. Robert started their career as a Research Scientist at Eli Lilly in 1991 and worked there for 13 years. Robert then joined Nuada Pharmaceuticals as an Associate Director for a year before moving to Scynexis in 2005. At Scynexis, they held various roles including Manager and Director of Chemistry and Business Development, Discovery Research. During their time at Scynexis, they led multiple client-based drug discovery programs and successfully initiated clinical trials for a program in peripheral pain. In 2016, they joined Selcia Ltd as the Director of Business Development, North America, where they are responsible for providing contract research services in drug discovery and medicinal chemistry.

Robert Foglesong obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Miami University in 1981. Robert then pursued their higher education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they earned their PhD in Chemistry in 1986. Robert also completed a Post-Doctoral program at the Duke University School of Medicine, although the specific dates are not provided.
