Derek Anderson

Derek Anderson has extensive experience in the commercial lending industry. Derek currently holds the position of Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer at SELCO Community Credit Union, where they are responsible for sourcing and originating new commercial loans in the Portland Metro area. Prior to this, Derek worked at First Tech Federal Credit Union, initially as a Sr. Commercial Credit Analyst and later as a Sr. Relationship Manager, handling complex loan transactions and mentoring newer staff members. Before joining First Tech, they were employed at CU Business Group as an AVP, Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager, overseeing a team of credit analysts and managing large loan review projects for multiple credit unions. Derek's expertise lies in credit risk analysis, underwriting, and loan origination.

Derek Anderson attended Portland State University's School of Business from 2004 to 2008. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Finance.
