Parthasarathy CR has had a diverse range of work experience. Parthasarathy started their career at Thomson Reuters in 2008 as a Software Engineer. After three years, they moved on to NABFINS LTD where they worked as a Senior Manager for a year. In 2014, Parthasarathy joined SELCO India, initially taking on the role of Sr. Manager, CSR. Parthasarathy eventually progressed to become the Chief Manager, Projects. Parthasarathy currently holds this position and has been with the company since November 2020.
Parthasarathy CR pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electronics and Communication from JSS Academy of Technical Education Karnataka, from 2004 to 2008. Following this, they completed their Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDM-RM) from Xavier Institute of Management (XIM Bhubaneswar) between 2011 and 2013, specializing in Rural Management.
SELCO India
Established in 1995, SELCO was co-founded by Dr Harish Hande. SELCO is a social enterprise working primarily in the area of decentralised renewable energy solutions in the rural geographies of India. SELCO views energy access as an underlying precondition to catalyse progress related to healthcare, quality education, sustainable livelihoods, financial inclusion and holistic development of underserved communities. The success of any development project largely depends on the ecosystem and strategic partnerships built during execution. SELCO works across different geographies through its 66 energy centres and has solar powered more than 6,50,000 houses, provided digital education solutions to 3000+ schools, solar powered more than 500 health centres and created more than 7500 microentrepreneurs.
