Ravi Kiran has extensive experience in project management, having worked at SELCO India since February 2003 and progressing through various roles, ultimately serving as Area Manager Projects and Senior Manager Projects since May 2019. Prior positions at SELCO India included Project Manager, Senior Executive Super Projects, Customer Support Executive Projects, Senior Customer Support Executive, and Customer Support Executive. Educationally, Ravi Kiran attended Poornaprajna College Udupi, where studies included 2nd PUC and a B.Com degree, and completed primary and secondary education at St. Mary's High School Udupi.

Established in 1995, SELCO was co-founded by Dr Harish Hande. SELCO is a social enterprise working primarily in the area of decentralised renewable energy solutions in the rural geographies of India.
