Born in the Islahiye district of Gaziantep in 1948, Ali Akcan completed his high school education at Antakya High School and received his undergraduate degree from Istanbul University, Faculty of Economics, Department of Business Administration and Finance. Akcan, who started his career in Ümran Çelik Boru Sanayii A.Ş. in 1969, worked there until 1975, and then worked as Alarko Holding A.Ş. He worked as a manager in the financial affairs team and in the financial affairs team of Diler Holding A.Ş. between 1987-1996. Akcan, who has been working as the Accounting Manager and then the Financial Affairs Coordinator at Selçuk Ecza Deposu A.Ş. In addition to these duties, Akcan is one of the Selçuk Ecza Holding group companies, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors at Selçuk Ecza Holding A.Ş., Aksel Ecza Deposu Tic. A.Ş. Member of the Board of Directors, Selçuklu Turizm ve İnşaat A.Ş. He is a member of the Board of Directors and a Member of the Board of Trustees and General Treasurer of the Ahmet and Nezahat Keleşoğlu Foundation.
