Melissa Njie has a diverse work experience starting in 2011 as an Assistant Manager at Ez Money Loans. Melissa then worked at Sedgwick as a Mentor from March 2015 to March 2017. Melissa joined Seldin Company in July 2017 as an Assistant Community Business Manager, and they held this position until June 2019. Melissa then became a Property Manager and later a Compliance Specialist at the same company, with their most recent role being Senior Compliance Specialist starting in November 2022.

Melissa Njie obtained a High School Diploma from Dubuque Senior High School, where they attended from 2002 to 2006. Following that, from 2010 to 2012, they pursued studies in Human Services, General at Northeast Iowa Community College.
